Studio Laconic is a full service architectural design headquartered in Colorado Springs, and founded in 2017 by Chad Harris.  We strive to create good design through simplicity while meeting the needs of our clients and end users.  It is our belief that we have the duty to use good design to change the world, while having fun doing it of course!

Meet Our Team

Chad Harris, NCARB  |  LEED AP BD + C   

Chad began his practice in 2017 on the Western Slope of Colorado. Since then he has practiced in Clearwater, Florida and additionally practiced remotely while traveling in an RV for a year.  Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Chad completed his Master of Architecture at the University of New Mexico.  He has a unique background in architecture, design, mycology, and real estate, working in a variety of practices from small and large architecture firms to real estate brokerages, while also helping to develop regenerative building materials. He is a registered architect in Florida and Colorado and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2007.  When not working on projects, you can find Chad deep in a good book, in the woods, or spending time with his wife, daughter and crazy dogs.
